Stephanie “Rockin’” Rose is a growing name in the Boston local music scene as a freelance writer/photographer, radio host, and scout. Stephanie began her music industry career five years ago as a freelance photographer for The Boston Phoenix and joined the UNRegular Radio staff as a scout, booker, and the host of Alternative Rock Radio. After a year, she worked briefly at WFNX but ultimately rejoined the UNRegular team and extended her radio show.
At the beginning of 2013, She broke out on her own and created the lifestyle blog, Rockin’ Rose Reports (www.stephmusicguru.com). It provides national and local music news, recipes, playlists, and it once housed her own independently produced podcast show bearing her signature name. It seems the third time is the charm however, as she now returns to UNRegular Radio – a place that truly feels like home. You can now find Stephanie as the afternoon host of Alternative Rock Radio and she serves proudly as UNRegular Radio’s Alternative/Rock Music Director.
Alternative Rock Radio (www.facebook.com/AltRockRadio) showcases a blend of local, old, and new alternative rock, along with a few rare and random favorites. Tune in for local and breaking music news segments, interviews, and live performances. Stephanie is always looking to her listeners feedback for not only what they want to hear, but anything they think she hasn’t heard. This show will be your very own mixed tape every weekday from 12-3pm only on UNRegular Radio!
